Do you want to drive incredible plant performance? If so, then it’s important that you focus on these 3 ways. First, use job breakdowns to train new staff in a consistent manner. Second, hold regular meetings and engage members of your team on each shift in driving process improvements. Third, have an updated action log that you use in each meeting to ensure people are taking action and driving sustained improvement with a high level of consistency. Plant performance is something every business wants to achieve-these three steps will get you there!

Use job breakdowns to train new staff in a consistent manner.

The best way to ensure that new employees are trained in a consistent manner is by using job breakdowns. This will not only save on time and effort, but it also allows for the most efficient use of resources like money and people because they allow managers to plan ahead with an accurate assessment of what needs training. Furthermore, this practice can be used as both educational tool or motivational strategy depending upon how you present it!

Hold regular meetings and engage members of your team on each shift in driving process improvements.

Regular meetings are an integral part of any team. When you hold these meetings, be sure to engage everyone from the manager all the way down to your front desk receptionist in order for them feel included and empowered by their contributions. After each meeting, take a few minutes at home or on that day off work before coming back into the office again (or during lunch) to map out what improvements were made based upon feedback gathered within those sessions so as not get stuck in stagnation mode with only one brain’s ideas being heard over time.

Have an updated action log that you use in each meeting to ensure people are taking action and driving sustained improvement with a high level of consistency.

It’s important to keep track of your work and progress in meetings. You can do this by using an Action Log during each meeting that will allow you to monitor whether or not people are taking action, driving sustained improvement at a high level consistency. Use it as a way for everyone involved with the project – from entry level all the way up through managers -to know where they stand on their commitments and ultimately make more informed decisions about how best move forward together based on what is truly being accomplished within these discussions
